Housing and Accommodation
Our three acre site can accommodate up to 28 residents in bungalows grouped around “The Crescent”.
These consist of four four bedroom shared bungalows (each with its own vanity basin and separate fire exit); one two bedroom shared bungalow; three three bedroomed bungalows and eight single bedsits. The bungalows are adapted for ease of use by disabled people. The Crescent fronts onto a large grassed area where residents may play games, have barbecues or just relax. This area is also used for organised events from time to time. A group of residents and volunteers have built an attractive raised garden, with a pond and residents who enjoy gardening are encouraged to maintain this area.
Due to the demand of accommodation for disabled and vulnerable people here at the Industries, Yateley have set up a fundraising team to try and raise £1.5m to build further adapted homes for the disabled and vulnerable people.
